Interstate Hotels & Resorts – the leading US-based global hotel management company – recently announced the appointment of Stephen K. Miller as senior vice president of development and acquisitions effective June 1, reporting directly to Interstate’s Chief Investment Officer, Leslie Ng.

A lodging industry veteran, Miller was previously SVP of Development at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the growth of the Tryp and Dream brand portfolios through the signing of management, investment and franchise agreements throughout North America and the Caribbean.

Miller’s extensive hospitality experience includes holding senior level positions with hotel companies such as Interstate, Carlson Hotels Worldwide and Strategic Hotels & Resorts – a real estate investment trust (REIT) which owns and provides asset management of high-end hotels and resorts in the United States, Mexico and Europe. While there, Miller was involved in the acquisition of over $1.0 billion of luxury hotel assets. Prior to Strategic, Miller was President and CEO of Arlington Hospitality, Inc., a hotel development and management company that builds, operates and sells mid-market hotels. Miller earned his degree in hotel administration from University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
