Fresh Conference, designed by Meetings Support Institute, is the first event dedicated to designing effective meetings, and their partnership with EIBTM 2013 is set to deliver a dynamic education track which will be open to all (sessions will take place in conference room 5.1).

EIBTM [ www.eibtm.com ], the global event for the meetings and events industry, is dedicated to innovating and evolving education in the meeting industry and as a result, the show has partnered with “Fresh” this year.

It has been confirmed that three sessions will be delivered as part of the Fresh Conference Track at EIBTM. Meeting Formats: How to Shape Change at Low Cost in Your Meetings and Events will run on November 20 (1100-1230). The hands-on session will provide attendees with an insight into improving participant learning, networking and satisfaction in events, through changing meeting formats.

Producing a Hybrid Meeting: Coping with Schism in Your Meetings will also take place on November 20 (1300-1430). This session will evaluate the technical and production challenges involved in the organization of Hybrid Meetings as well as providing attendees with case-based tips, stories and experience as well as a behind the scenes look at the EIBTM/FRESH hybrid effort.

Presentation Techniques: Styles, Techniques, Equipment will conclude this year’s Fresh Conference Track at EIBTM. This session, taking place on November 21 (1100-1230) will teach attendees how to make presentation environments to impress: from simple slide improvement to amazing ‘out of the screen’ presentations.

Tying into the Fresh theme, the Corporate Knowledge Program, sponsored by London & Partners, which will be presented by Eric De Groot, Co-Author of Into the Heart of Meetings, (November 20, 1500-1630) will also focus on the importance of meetings design and content and its impact on effective meetings.

Eric de Groot, Managing Partner and Meeting Designer, Mindmeeting commented, “Meetings are the place where people interact for business reasons. It is the corporate planner’s task to ensure that the organization’s meetings offer the best possible contribution to its goals. Meetings embody the dynamics in the organization and therefore the corporate planner needs the competencies to make the meeting program as cutting edge and as engaging as possible.”
