Rim je domaćin 3. međunarodnog simpozija Young Skal

The opening of the 3rd Young Skal International Symposium, one of the three world annual congresses promoted by Skal International, along with the International Congress and the International Board, kicked off today in Rome, Italy, on March 11, 2015. The event will run until March 14.

Antonio Percario, in his capacity as Director of International Skal Italy, is proud to have involved the President of Skal International, Salih Cene, to attend to the opening of the event being held at the Westin Ambasciatori Excelsior Palace Hotel Rome located in Via Veneto. This famed “sweet life road” will host the opening ceremony on Thursday, March 12 at 9:00 am with the participation of the President of World Skal International, while the Hotel Savoy Rome will host the seminars on the future of world tourism as well as the gala dinner.

The event was made possible thanks to the commitment of the International Councilor Antonio Percario, and Roberto Necci, Head of Young Skal of Rome, which at the International Meeting held in Bucharest and Mexico City, candidated Skal Rome.

The success of the event goes to the organizational efforts of the team, with the event boasting the presence of over 100 participants of which 55 young Skal applicants are from Rome, Florence, Milan, Palermo, and Venice, along with 20 young Skal applicants from 12 countries: Canada, Finland, Kenya, England, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States.

There is a large participation of Skal International members starting from Skal President Salih Cene, the past president Nik Racic, Alfonso Passera, Hulya Atlantas, and Birger Backman, in addition to presidents Francisco Munoz and Wolfgang Hofmann.

The Skal Italy delegation is represented by Toti Piscopo, the National President, and the Treasurer, Mario Pinna, along with the board of Skal Rome headed by President Augusto Minei; Vice Presidents Germano Gaudenzi, Ruggero Ruggeri and Roberto Necci, Head of the Symposium; past President Alberto Zampi; Honorary President Franco Roscioli; and Antonio Percario in his dual capacity as Secretary of Rome and Skal International Councillor for Italy.

Active Skal members of Rome are participating in abundance. Overall, the event is producing a very satisfactory result, as stated by the President, Augusto Minei.
